About Designers
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to be talking about designers! We have a custom user right called "Designer".

This right was requested by me some time after we added Theme Designers to the database. Theme Designers had to be given administrator rights, so we created a new right so that this portable one could be distributed rather than the sysop right.

You might (or might not) remember the time when Pickle adopted the wiki back in July.
Well, before that, when JWMelmoth was an administrator, it was allowed that you added your favorite quote to an article.
Well, times have changed.
It is no longer allowed that you add your favorite quotes to an article. That is the job of Content Moderators, Administrators, and Bureaucrats.
The reason why this rule has been enforced is because the words, "add your fave quote here!" are highly unprofessional and makes our wiki sound fanon. Which it's not (fyi). The other reason is because the vandalism is increasing. Which also mentions the other new information about quotes.

Should we have "A Tale of Magic" pages in this wiki
Hi everyone!
At the moment I'm reading "A Tale of Magic" and I saw, that many characters, who appear in this book don't have a page in this wiki. Now I wonder if I'm allowed to create pages for them in this wiki. Well, "A Tale of Magic" isn't really a part of "The Land of Stories" but in an other way it is because it's the prequel. I hope you know what I mean.
What do you think? Should we have pages for characters and places from "A Tale of Magic" in this wiki or not?

Mistake in "Hotel Gewaltiger Palast"
Hi everyone!
I'm new here and read some of the articles in this wiki.
But I found a mistake on the page Hotel Gewaeltiger Palast. In German it doesn't mean "Gewaeltiger Palast" but "Gewaltiger Palast". I corrected it but I can't correct the title of the page.
Can someone tell me how to edit a title? Or can only admins edit a title?

I finished the series about 1 and a half years ago. My friend got bored after the fifth book so she didn't read the sixth. She said she didn't like it anymore, but she sometimes brings it up today. I think I'm going to re-read the series soon :P
Goldilocks: Why She's Great!
Goldilocks from TLOS is a wonderful character. She is strong and not afraid of anything (except for bears, but she overcomes that.) Here's why she is one of my favorite characters:
-She has many sides to her personality.
-She is strong and brave
-She inspires others
-She tries her best to help others
-She doesn't give up no matter what situation she is in
-She doesn't under-estimate anyone
-She is caring and loving
-She is self-empowered
Goldie says many inspiring things in TLOS books, such as "Courage is the one thing that no one can ever take away from you," and "Jealousy is just a reminder of the frustrations you have with yourself."
Why TLOS is amazing!
I absolutely adore the Land of Stories Series, and for good reason. I read the first book years ago after puchasing it at a book store and have been addicted since. I am so glad to be joining the fandom and I hope that I can make great contributions that explain the story well.
Here's why people who haven't read the series should begin now:
The book is different and unexpected. We've all read those books where the title or cover art explains the entire story and we know exactly what will happen. There are so many plot twists in the book and things go where you could never expect them to. The Land of Stories
Alex is my favorite TLOS character. Here's why:
-She can get out of any tough situaion with fast thinking and smart choices
-She is dedicated to helping TLOS be a safe place
-She is strong and uses her words wisely
-She is brave and tries her best at everything
-She learns from her mistakes and improves from them
-She can understand and make a difference in any situation
Her personality shows why she is a great hero and my personal favorite. She is a smart girl and makes the best of anything that happens to her with what she has. Everyone strives to be someone successful like her.

Don’t you LOVE the love story between King Arthur (search the page, I made it) and Alex? He was always there for the love of his life. I hope they married and had a happily ever after. Who is the best character in this series?
Who is your favorite character in this series? Is it Conner? Goldilocks? Red? All of these characters are great but in my opinion, Alex is the one that deserves an award for being the best character. Now you may disagree, but think about it, if Alex hadn't kept their grandmother's book then this entire series wouldn't have happened. And yes, technically their grandma is the one who gave it to her, but her grandma sadly returns to magic in the third book. And not to mention, Alex has saved her brother and others countless times. Some may argue that she destroyed much of New York City and that many were injured or killed, but she was also able to overcome the evil dust and return back to normal. Think about how much will power that must…

Hi guys!
I was just wondering if any of you have ever thought of this;
1) In the book, The Fairy Godmother says that "every time she returned" (once a week it seems), "it seemed that decades passed" (TLOS1), and Mother goose talks about this as well
2) Time only slowed down AFTER the twins were born
3) Fairy Godmother explains that John fell in love the first trip. Then she forbade him from going and he went back anyways
4) It apparently took John 3 years to get back, but maybe just a week or two
5) working on the idea it took him 2 weeks-3 years, and that approx. 2 decades passed in the real world for every week in TLOS, it would be 40-3120 (ish) years in the otherworld by the time he got back
My theory is that because the times matched up …
