Captain Hook is the well-known antagonist from the story Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie. He's a one-handed pirate from Neverland who is always trying to best Peter Pan. In the original story, he wants revenge from Peter for feeding his hand to a crocodile.

In The Land of Stories series, Captain Hook, his right-hand man Mr. Smee and his army of Neverland Pirates are recruited by the Masked Man, in exchange for enabling Captain Hook to kill Peter.
Appearance and Personality[]
He is tall, with long curly hair, and wears a large black hat and a heavy coat with massive shoulders. His right hand has been replaced with a sharp metal hook.[1] He is vicious, and easily angered.
He has a ship called the Jolly Roger.
Story[]
In Beyond the Kingdoms, Captain Hook agrees to help the Masked Man and travels into Alice in Wonderland (and later into the Land of Stories) with him, his ship and his pirates.
In An Author's Odyssey, he and the other literary villains grow impatient with the Masked Man, and when he fails to keep his promise, they try to kill him. Together with the Queen of Hearts and the Wicked Witch of the West, Captain Hook takes over reign of the Land of Stories.
