Morina's Mirror of Truth is a large mirror with a golden frame. It reveals one's true self when one stands before it.
In Beyond the Kingdoms, Morina shows her customers a special mirror inside her beauty potion shop.
According to Morina, it was a gift from the Evil Queen.
Use[]
Morina shows off her "true self" (a hideous woman with warts, a hunchback and a clubfoot) to her customers as proof that her potions work - she may still be that ugly on the inside, but her potions have turned her beautiful on the outside. When her customers look into the mirror, they see their young selves as they used to be.[1]
When Queen Red Riding Hood and the Lost Boys break into Morina's house and see themselves in the mirror, their reflections are the same: their outer truth is as real as their inner truth.[2]
