"All it takes is one bad apple to disgrace a whole tree. I come from a very long line of witches and I've only ever heard of one witch who eats children- but thanks to the story 'Hansel and Gretel', the whole world thinks all of us live in gingerbread houses and lure innocent youths to their deaths."[1]-Hagetta

Background Information[]

Hagetta was a witch, but she preferred the term healer. She healed Alex, Conner and Lester with flames from an albino dragon after they were wounded at the attack on the dreaded battle between the elves and the Masked Man's army.

Appearance[]

"The woman was middle-aged and wore dark red robes. Her hair was the same color as her robes and she had bright green eyes."[2]

Hagetta was described as a tall, middle-aged but quite beautiful woman, with wavy dark red hair with gray lines down to her back, light skin, and bright green eyes. Because she decided not to practice the Dark Arts she retained her human appearance despite technically being a witch. He mainly wears a long hooded tunic, also dark red.

Personality[]

Hagetta is a woman with a kind and gentle heart, she always tries to help in any way she can, even going so far as to use dark magic if the situation warrants it.

History[]

Childhood[]

Hagetta is the witch Hagatha's "much younger" sister. Hagatha taught her about witchcraft, but they parted ways shortly before Hagatha died because Hagetta wasn't interested in the dark magic. She lives in a cottage in the Dwarf Forests.

Meeting Goldilocks[]

Hagetta discovered a young goldilocks girl trying to rob her, she chased her away and thought she would never return, but weeks later when she was walking through the woods she found her injured because she had been hurt by a wild creature and had barely survived. Taking pity on the injured girl, he took her to his cabin and healed her with his magic, but when she was healthy she refused to stay any longer due to her status as a fugitive, plus she could defend herself. Hagetta told her that if she really could defend herself she had to learn to fight and gave her a sword so she could defend herself.

Years later, Hagetta was attacked by a group of trolls who were trying to enslave her, but an adult Goldilocks came to her aid and killed the trolls, saving her, returning the favor to Hagetta for having helped her as a child.

Meeting Bo Peep[]

She once sold a potion to Little Bo Peep to help keep her awake so she wouldn't lose any sheep again and Little Bo became addicted to the easy solutions magic could bring her. Repeatedly coming back for more potions and spells to make his work on his farm easier. Hagetta also helped her when she became romantically involved with the Masked Man;She also gave Little Bo a magical mirror to communicate with the Masked Man in Pinocchio Prison.

Hagetta 1 - GWDOA

The only time Hagetta performed dark magic was when she cut out a small piece of Little Bo's heart to take away her heartbreak and turned it to stone[3].Using the same magic that Hagatha used on Evly's heart. But not wanting Bo Peep to become a heartless being like Evly, Hagetta only removed the piece of her heart that contained her anguish and desire. He put it in a necklace and gave it to Bo, advising her that he wear it when she was ready to face the pain that would come after love.

After Bo Peep became pregnant by the Masked Man not wanting her child to suffer at the hands of his father, she gave her baby to Hagetta to find him a better home and she sent him to the other world where she left him in the care of a German family.

A Grimm Warning[]

Hagetta attended Jack and Goldilocks' wedding, although Alex did not know who she was until later.

After Alex, Conner and Lester barely escaped the Elven Empire and ended up crash-landing near Hagetta's cabin, she found them unconscious and took them to her cabin.

Using the Albino Dragon Flames, Hagetta began to heal the limbs of both the children and Lester while they were unconscious. When the twins woke up, he told them interesting facts about being Hagatha's sister, having helped Bo Peep, how he met Goldilocks and the rumors from the witch world about one or two surviving dragon eggs . When the twins completely recovered, someone knocked on the door of the cabin. Hagetta told them to hide while she looked to see who it was. When she opened the door, it turned out that it was Xanthous, who was at the entrance.

Xanthous told the twins that the kingdoms had managed to defend themselves thanks to the help of the villagers, but that they had to return to the fairy kingdom as soon as possible. The twins mounted Lester and said goodbye to Hagetta.

Beyond the Kingdoms[]

Hagetta makes a re-appearance in the Beyond the Kingdoms, where she tries to reason with the other witches to not take the Masked Man's side. She helps Alex and Conner in their quest to find the Masked Man, guarding over the portal book they use to travel.

From the way the other witches react to her presence at the monthly witches' meeting at Dead Man's Creek, it is clear that she usually doesn't attend their meetings and isn't very popular among the witches. Charcoaline says: "She's an embarrassment to all real witches."[4]

Powers and Abilities[]

Hagetta was trained in the ways of witchcraft by her sister Hagata, although Hagetta chose not to practice dark magic, she still knows all dark spells that her sister taught her, Hagetta mainly uses her magic for healing purposes and creating magical potions. Hagetta knows the spell to separate the heart from the body, the only dark magic spell she ever used in her life.

Hagetta possesses a torch that contains albino dragon flames that are capable of healing any physical wound and are even capable of reconstructing objects such as magic wands.
