Tangerina was an original character from The Land of Stories series. She lived in The Fairy Kingdom and was part of the Fairy Council.
Biography[]
A Tale of Magic[]
She was previously a former pupil of Madame Weatherbury along with Skylene, She called herself and Skylene apprentices, saying that they were more advanced. At first, she felt herself superior, but came around. She quarreled endlessly with Lucy Goose.
Trix's Trial[]
The Fairy Council hosted a trial for the fairy Trix and the Fairy Council was about to sentence her, when Conner spoke up on her behalf. He managed to change the fairies' minds and Trix was pardoned.
Fighting the Enchantress[]
The Fairy Council was shown as at a complete loss in the face of Ezmia's power. They refused to give in when Ezmia came to taunt them, but were unable to stand up to Ezmia's powers and were captured. They were saved by Alex and Conner. The Fairy Council later agreed with the Fairy Godmother to close the gateway between the two worlds.
Defeating the Grande Armée[]
Tangerina was present at Alex's inauguration to the Fairy Council. She also fought alongside the other fairies in the battle against the Grande Armée, using her bees as weapons against the soldiers.
Ungodmothering Alex and Being Turned to Stone[]
The Council accused Alex of neglecting her Fairy Godmother duties and spending too much time trying to find the Masked Man. They gave her an ultimatum, which she refused, and they ungodmothered her. When the Masked Man and his army arrived in the Land of Stories, the Fairy Palace was destroyed and the members of the Fairy Council were turned to stone.[1]

She was elegant, dressed in orange and her hairstyle was shaped into a beehive with bees that flew around her head.[3]
Personality[]
She is known to be energetic and is usually the one with the most temper. She is also more "sophisticated" than the rest and quarrels endlessly with Lucy Goose/Mother Goose. Closest to Skylene in the Fairy Council.
