The Basic Regulations must always be followed.

User Rights To make our wiki successful and work properly, we have a set amount of staff members who have exclusive rights that help them take care of the wiki. The staff team consists of dedicated users who devote themselves to keeping the wiki clean, informative, and safe. Rights Bureaucrat Bureaucrats are administrators with an add-on extension to their toolbox. They are able to grant users rights and demote users of their rights. If they also have the administrator right (which they usually do), they are able to block users, edit the theme, and revoke rights of a bot if it is malfunctioning. Bureaucrats are trusted users who have been on the wiki for a long time. This status can only be removed by the bureaucrat themself or a member of Fandom Staff. Administrators Adminstrators, otherwise called sysops, are users who are granted all privileges from both the Content Moderator and Discussions Moderator groups, can block users from editing and other actions, and grant and revoke the Rollback and Discussions Moderator rights. They can also edit the community's skin and format and edit whitelisted MediaWiki pages. Being an administrator grants the tag that states, "Administrator" next to one's profile. Content Moderators Content Moderators are moderators who mainly focus on articles rather than discussions. They have the ability to edit and move fully protected pages, delete and restore pages and files, rollbacking edits, protecting and unprotecting pages, and patrolling articles. Content Moderators are likely to be promoted after being granted Rollback rather from scratch. Being a content moderator grants the tag that states, "Content Moderator" next to one's profile. Discussions Moderators Discussions Moderators, also known as Thread Moderators, moderate discussions, such as posts, messages, and comments. They can remove and restore threads and replies by any user, close and reopen replies, manage discussion categories, delete blog comments, and edit and delete article comments. Being a discussion moderator grants the tag that states, "Discussions Moderator" next to one's profile. Removal of rights Bureaucrats can remove admin or some other rights when they feel it necessary. In most cases, the community should be consulted. Only Fandom Staff, Wiki Representatives, Helpers, and the user themselves can remove Bureaucrat rights from a user, but this rarely happens. Examples of situations when staff will remove bureaucrat or other rights include: The rights were abused. A user is inactive and the community asks for the removal. A user's account is globally disabled and a member of the community asks for the removal. Community request, after a discussion among more active users. They are found to be editing abusively as an alternative account (sockpuppet). They have used their rights to edit the interface into something very unsuitable. They have broken Fandom's Terms of Use. Becoming a staff member Unlike other wikis, becoming a staff member of The Land of Stories Wiki is only by invitation from a current member of staff.
