Trix is an original character from The Land of Stories series. She first appears in The Wishing Spell, ch 12. She is a fairy from the Fairy Kingdom, up for trial for using magic on another fairy. She was being teased for her size and turned the other fairy's wings into prune leaves. Alex and Conner collected one of her tears for the Wishing Spell, but also defended her case against the Fairy Council.
Trix returns in Beyond the Kingdoms to help Conner find Alex and the Masked Man, helping to prove and defend Alex's case in the process.
Biography[]
Trix first appears in the Land of Stories: Wishing Spell, ch 12. Alex and Connor were collecting fairy tears for the Wishing Spell when they found Trix crying on a rock near the entrance of the Fairy Kingdom. She confessed her fears of being banished from the Fairy Kingdom because she turned another fairy's wings into leaves.
Trix appears again three years after in Beyond the Kingdoms, ch 6 when she and two other fairies named Merkle and Noodle was delivering the stolen book from the late Fairy Godmother's chamber to Connor. It is confirmed that the book contained many spell recipes, and, on the last page, was the Portal Potion's method.
Trix appears later in the same book and, again, eavesdropped on the Fairy Council with Merkle and Noodle after the literary army invaded the Land of Stories. Unfortunately, before they could leave, the Masked Man and the literary army attacked the Fairy Council. Merkle, Noodle, and the rest of the Fairy Council all turned into stone. Trix closed her eyes just in time and managed to escape the curse. Connor found her later and told her to hide in The Dwarf Forests and stay there until it's safe to come out again.
Physical Appearance[]
Trix is only a few inches tall and has big, blue wings similar to a butterfly's. She has dark hair and a purple dress made of leaves and shoes made out of flower buds.[1]
Personality[]
Trix's tears
Originally, Trix appeared to be a shy and lonely individual. She was shown to be quite sensitive with a temper as well, subsequently, when another fairy had teased her about her size, she lost control of her emotions and turned his wings to leaves. She was very pleased when Conner Bailey aided her in being pardoned by the Fairy Council.[2] Still grateful to Alex and Conner Bailey in later years, the young fairy returned the favor by helping Alex receive her position back as Fairy Godmother. She and her two new friends Merkle and Noodle attempted to accomplish this task by bringing Conner the Fairy Godmother's notebook that held the recipe for the Portal Potion.[3]
Trix is, all in all, a good and generally caring fairy albeit, slightly temperamental, too. She is fervently loyal and will remain so if someone were to help her. Although initially, she struggled with making friends, she later is shown to be doing just fine making friends when she meets two other fairies, Merkle and Noodle. Furthermore, Trix seems to have a bright disposition as well.

Conner & Alex Bailey[]
Trix showed keen feelings toward Alex since she asked how the fairy was feeling and showed her kindness. Offering to accompany her to her trial, Conner surprised everyone by defending and supporting Trix. Managing to transfer the attention to the Trolls and Goblins, Trix was soon pardoned by the Fairy Council, and therefore, Trix was saved and the trial was canceled. She has become very loyal to them since then.
Merkle[]
Merkle is one of the few friends Trix managed to make. Since nobody was there in the Wishing Spell when Trix was first revealed in the story, it is only logical that she made her friends later in the series. Merkle is a thin, pencil-shaped fairy and loved reading, shown later in the story. She agreed to help Trix along with Noodle to steal the book from the Fairy Godmother's chambers, giving it to Conner and his friends as a gift of paying back the favor. Merkle shown to be wary and nervous, and even though she supports that Alex is sane and innocent, she is still hesitant about the idea of stealing.
Noodle[]
Noodle is one of Trix's two friends. She is a plump, sunny fairy who liked breaking the rules, unlike Merkle. She was shown to be mischievous and doesn't seem to be guilty about breaking into the Fairy Godmother's bedroom to retrieve the book. Her personality is a lot like Trix's, which is likely why they get along so well.
